我ながら新しいディレクトリを掘ること自体が好きなのかと思うほど ディレクトリを掘ってきましたが、コメント欄用のサーブレットを作っ たのをきっかけに、また一つ掘ることにしました。indexにもあるよう に、今後は書いた文章はすべてここに放り込んで、文章ごとにこのサー ブレットを利用したコメント欄を設置しておくことにします。古くなっ た文章への入り口もここに作っていくことにします。うまく行けば今後 はトップページに新しいコーナーを作る必要もないだろうし（ディレク トリは管理上掘るかもしれない）、トップページのメニューもすっきり することでしょう。 さてそのサーブレットですが、ずっと「こんな機能があったらいいな」 と思っていたんですよ。で、作ってみると簡単な機能ながら、読んだそ の場で感想や意見を書き込んでもらったり、筆者から追加情報を書き込 んだりと、思った通りとても便利でした。 コンセプトとして出来るだけオープンな仕様にしました。最低限の機 能としてタグは無効化しますが、名前に関してはチェックしてないので、 誰でも好きな名前で書き込めます。「名無しさん」でも「氏名黙秘」で もOKです。ただし何らかの名前の入力は必須です。名前を入れないと何 も言わずに元の画面に飛ばされます。どうせ匿名なんだから、これは不 要の方がいいでしょうかね。「管理人」のような特別な名前については、 今後チェックを入れるようにするかもしれません。メールアドレスは形 式的なチェックだけして、それを通れば自動でリンクを生成します。形 式が間違っていればリンクを生成せずにコメントが書き込まれるだけで す。「オープンな」他に最低限の機能に設計されているので、自分のコ メントを消すことは出来ません。日付の表示もかなり強引です。クッキー で前回書き込んだ時の名前とメールアドレスを自動で補充して・・・と いうこともありません（やろうと思えば簡単なんですけどね）。コメン トを消せない、といっても匿名だから、話がまずくなったらハンドル変 えてしらを切り通せばいいわけですね（笑）。どうしても削除して欲し い人は日付欄の14桁の数字を添えて管理人までご連絡下さい。 今のところ、ある程度時間がたったらhtmlに変換して、コメント欄も 凍結するつもりでいます。コメントを書き込むためにはjspのままにし ておかなければいけないわけですが、メインコンテンツが常に「動的に 生成される」というのもキャッシュが効かなかったり、メンテナンスと 重なるとせっかく来てもらっても読めなかったりして嫌、というのが理 由です。それに書き込み欄がドキュメントごとにあるということは、ド キュメントの数だけ掲示板が置いてあるようなもので、新規書き込みを 求めて見回るのも大変ですしね。 以下は技術的なことを少々。今回から、動作確認のブラウザを
「Mozilla 0.9.8またはNetscape 6.1以降」に変更しました（今までは
Netscape 4.7X）。スタイルシートもある程度積極的に使っています
（同時にレイアウトにテーブルを使うようになったのは時代に逆行する
気もするが）。本当は では今回はこのあたりで。
