Conjuin(s) - Online French Verb Conjugator

Introduction

Thank you for visiting Conjuin(s). Conjuin, Java Applet version, and Conjuins, Java Servlet version, are services which provide French verb conjugation tables. (A screen-shot of the Applet version here) They cover over 1200 French irregular verbs (Now Servlet version supports "regular verb inference". The Applet version doesn't support regular -er verbs, but it covers regular -ir verbs, irregular -er verbs such as manger, placer, etc. and compounds). You can retrieve conjugation tables by infinitives (regular lookup) or by one of the conjugations (reverse lookup).

The goal of this software is to assist beginners, not to provide specialist knowledge. Therefore, it does NOT guarantee that the information provided does not contain mistakes. But for beginners, it is a greatly helpful tool!

Please note the following about the software's operation.

1.Link to the Conjugator

• Conjuins v1.2.1 (Servlet version) Note: Highly Recommended. This version doesn't require Java enabled browsers and supports some additional functions to the Applet Version, but generated tables don't animate (though the animation is trifling). See Usage.
• Conjuin v2.2.1 (Applet Version) Note: This version features the animated conjugation table, and once loaded to your PC, it's faster than the Servlet Version. But it requires Java 1.1 (or later) enabled browsers. Please turn on Java. If your browser does not support Java, the next page may cause browser hang-up.

Conjuin is a Java Applet. I recommend you using Java 1.3 or later. You can get the newest Java SDK or Runtime Environment from the site below.

2.Verified Environments

This verification is for the Applet version. The Servlet version works well with almost all the browsers.

If your favorite browser is not listed above, don't panic. Conjuin will work on any browser which supports Java Plug-in. Get the suitable Plug-in for your browser from the appropriate site.

Conjuin(s) are provided to you free of charge, but before you use Conjuin(s), please read the Conjuin(s) End User Licence Agreement below. Please note clause 3. No Warranty. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you will not be able to use the software.

Conjuin(s) End User Licence Agreement

This is a contract. By indicating your acceptance below, you accept all the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you want the Provider's permission to use the Software other than as permitted in this Agreement, please contact the Provider. The author and provider of Conjuin (SHIRAISHI Tatsuto, "Provider") grants to you a non-exclusive license to use Conjuin(s) ("Software"), provided that you agree to the following.

1. Use of the Softwares

1.1 You may--

(a) use the Software by following the link above on this page.

(b) (This condition only applies to the Applet version) download the necessary files from tatsuto.com, and use the Software on your local computers. Provided that you accept all the terms and conditions of this agreement, the number of machines on which you use the Software simultaneously is unlimited.

1.2 You may not --(These conditions are applied only to the Applet version) --

(a) extract or modify the java archive file of the Software which you have downloaded from tatsuto.com;

(b) decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer .class files contained in the java archive file; or

(c) redistribute any files of the Software which you have downloaded from tatsuto.com entirely or partially.

2. Provider's Rights

2.1 The Provider reserves--

(a) all rights on the Softwares. This Agreement does not gives you any other rights than the right to use the Softwares.

(b) the right to approve or disapprove the use of the Softwares to ensure that it complies with these terms and conditions.

(c) the right, at any time and without cause, to modify these terms and conditions and to withdraw any permission granted under this Agreement to use the Softwares. Modification shall be applied immediately from the date of the modification below on this page.

3. No Warranty

The Provider does not warrant the quality of the Softwares. The Softwares is provided to you free of charge, "as is." You may use the Software at your own risk.

IN NO EVENT WILL THE PROVIDER BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR THE RESULTS OF ANY DEFECTS THAT MAY BE FOUND TO EXIST IN THE SOFTWARES.
